Created to meet the demanding standards of MIL-PRF-3420 Class 1, Style C, Zerust® 705 by ABX Packaging is the only QPL approved material meeting both the active corrosion protection and superior physical durability aspects of the standard. As a Style C material, this laminate is specifically designed to be moldable, allowing it to form and hold its shape around complex or heavy components. This makes it ideal for packaging applications where the barrier must conform closely to the geometry of the item for maximum protection.

Its multi-layer construction—Foil/PE/70 lb. Natural Kraft/22 lb. Rust Inhibitor—combines the mechanical strength of kraft paper, the barrier properties of foil, and the corrosion-fighting benefits of VCI saturation. The embedded volatile corrosion inhibitors activate to create a dry, invisible molecular shield on ferrous surfaces, blocking rust caused by humidity, airborne contaminants, oxygen, and long-term storage conditions.

Zerust® 705 meets vapor inhibitor performance requirements under MIL-STD-3010/4031B, making it fully qualified for mission-critical preservation programs.
