MIL-PRF-131 Class 1 Tyvek® Barrier Material (Marvelseal® 585) delivers watervaporproof, greaseproof, and heat-sealable protection for high-performance military, aerospace, and industrial packaging applications. Engineered with a Tyvek® / Polyethylene / Aluminum Foil / Polyethylene / Film construction, this laminate combines durability, flexibility, and barrier performance in one versatile material.
Marvelseal® 585 is QPL-compliant to MIL-PRF-131K, Class 1 and conforms to FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1520, allowing direct contact with food and pharmaceuticals. The Tyvek® outer layer offers outstanding puncture and tear resistance, making it ideal for packaging sharp or irregularly shaped components while maintaining full vapor and moisture protection.
