MIL-PRF-22019 Type I VCI Barrier Film

Its multilayer structure—OPP / PE / VCI sealant—combines optical clarity, strength, and proven vapor inhibitor chemistry for long-term protection of ferrous metal components.

VCI molecules embedded in the sealant layer volatilize within the package, forming a thin, invisible molecular shield that prevents corrosion caused by humidity, oxygen, and airborne contaminants. This makes the film ideal for wrapping or sealing ferrous parts used in military depots, field operations, export packaging, and industrial storage.
