Versil-Pak 5-2 is a high-strength polyester fabric barrier wrap, waxed on both sides and laminated to a polyester film, delivering exceptional waterproof, greaseproof, corrosion-resistant, and abrasion-resistant protection for industrial piping, motors, pumps, and buried equipment. Its rugged construction and strong dielectric properties make it ideal for harsh, corrosive, or underground environments.

This material meets or exceeds the legacy military specification MIL-B-121F, Type I, Grade C, Class 2, which is inactive for new design and maintained only for replacement or sustainment requirements. National Stock Number (NSN): 8135-00-292-9728

Engineered for severe industrial and environmental exposure, Versil-Pak 5-2 combines a polyester high-strength fabric core with two-sided adhesion wax and a polyester barrier film. This structure provides outstanding tensile strength, moldability, and dead-fold, allowing the wrap to conform tightly around irregular shapes—such as joints, threads, straps, valves, weld seams, flanges, and yokes.

The laminated wax system locks out water, soil, contaminants, grease, chemicals, and airborne particulate, while the film layer enhances overall barrier performance. Proven Daubert Cromwell corrosion-inhibitor chemistry adds long-term rust protection, making Versil-Pak 5-2 suitable for buried or exposed applications in oilfield operations, utilities, industrial plants, and military replacement programs.
